From Raga to Adhunik - Rajnita established her own place in the heart of music lovers. An accomplished professional singer, Rajnita recently stormed into Tollywood playback with a melodious number under music director, Sri Mrinal Bandyopadhyay. Subsequently, she sang in few more upcoming Bengali films.
She also performed in prestigious Tara Club and Tara TV's Aaj Sokaler Amontraney, which were shown worldwide in Tara TV.
Rajnita started her musical career in Kolkata at the age of six in All India Radio and Doordarshan. She bacame a top graded artist in AIR, Kolkata and Mumbai. Her melodious and extremely trained voice touched the hearts of thousands of people in Kolkata, Mumbai, New York, Dallas, Oklahoma, Tulsa, New Orleans, Houston and other places.
Her CD album "Hridaye Rabindranath Chetonay Nazrul" in 2011 was highly praised in Kolkata media. Her adhunik album "Sagorer Opar Hote" in 2013 was released in Press Club of Kolkata by Sri Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Smt Hoimontee Shukla, Sri Kalyan Sen Barat and Sri Pratap Roy. Both of these albums were produced under guidance of Sri Kalyan Sen Barat.
In 2015, Rajnita teamed up with Smt Sraboni Sen and Smt Bratati Bandyopadhyay to publish "Jhara Bokul Phool" - a Rabindra Nazrul scrip based album.
Rajnita trains budding singers and kids. Her music school "SAPTAK School of Music" is a leading singing school in Houston Area. She also teaches in Kalabhavan in Houston Durgabari.
